The I Don't Care if Bonsai is Art, I Just Like the Trees Tread

I don't really know what to say.

Tell him I said she's gonna do those 2 years like a shitty Bonsai "crafter"...
For 30 years!

Tell him so it becomes true!

She has a smile the world needs!

That old coot does too!

And I don't wanna see either of them frown!

Damn @Mellow Mullet ...

You got some trees out of the woodwork!

Nice!

Sucky news today....

Worst case scenario...six months to a year
Best case...two years.

We have talked, we are ready....we are good with it. Thanks.

Dang it, Al, I don't know what to say other than my prayers are with you. I have a friend that got the same news years ago and is still with us, so the doctors don't know every thing, I hope that this is the same case for you.

Oh oh, something I really hate on the other side... fake realistic plants. What's the point? What's the value of looking at a plastic plant and saying how beautiful it is? Zero.
Take a look at the thread title especially the first four words.

Let me back the train up here a bit. Smoke I posted this before reading the end of the thread. My apologies. It was not my intention to seem so callous! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife.
Everything is good. I only posted it, because many people had seemed interested in her health early on, and since this thread seemed to be about what is really important, I gave an update. we still have new chemo to try and hopefully this will be the one. I did get good news last Tuesday that my Dad is in full remission on his bladder cancer, but his sister died that day also at 88. Been a really rough week......

My heartfelt sympathy and sincere prayers are with you.
... ...She most certainly has with her the best support system one can ever ask for!
Yes, for sure! @Smoke may you have all the strength to keep on walking!

Prayers that this one works for her Al...my heartfelt condolences to you and the family on the loss of an aunt...but praise God for the report on your father. Roller coaster of a ride there... (((Hugs))) @Smoke love your wife's spunk and orneriness. The two of you surely never have a dull moment.

So sorry Al. I'll continue to pray for you and your wife, but I know you'll both do just fine. Today, I was at the funeral for a young man not quite 16 years old who passed away suddenly this week. He was a friend of my son's from elementary school who took his own life. In the end, he was unable to realize just how precious his life truly was. Anyway, despite reading the update on your wife's condition after coming home from the funeral, I can't help but smile... you and your wife get it and aren't going to waste a minute not living life the way it was meant to be lived, and I'm looking forward to the next installment here at B'nut:).

I just read through the last page or 2.

@Smoke I am very sorry to hear about your wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

@Dav4 Thats a sad story about that young man. Such a waste.

@Dav4 ...prayers to all who knew this young man...it effects a community like none other. It's hit home as well...so, my heart aches for the family and close friends...and even aquainences who he never knew his smile touched. Hug your son for me. It's a very challenging time for all...
