update on my multi trunk yew forrest?!?! I was hoping to start working on this one this fall, but i leaving it too grow for another year. I expected more grow. Or perhaps a parrot will start chewing the deadwood...........

I think it is better to let the spring growth do its thing and wait till summer for cutting back. You will get a MUCH stronger back-budding response.

I only plucked the older needles. I won’t touch the new growth

Autumn or winter are the best periods for styling. Some say the best time is when the tree is in winter rest.
