As it should be for all!I dont vote for a party. I vote for what I believe will be the best for the American people and move things forward in this country for everyone, not just rich, white people.
LOVE good MUSIC. Not to be confused with blues or jazz!why can't conservatives like good music too? We're the cool kids after all.
In the states. For like 40 years + (anyone know more specific, affirmative action?) Theres been an unfair advantage on applications (ask liz Warren the foreclosure snake -look it up- about her harvard apllications when no one was looking) head to head for hiring. When all else compares, skill, merit, performance, etc. Theres ethnicity checkboxes that are used to promote diversity over white ppl on applications. So minprities have had an advantage for work since applications use race or ethnicity to promote or make decisions. Which is ironic and another thing overlooked often, might even be prejudice if people are put ahead of others based on skin or origin. As it should be for all!
Very sad to see that party rethoric has become of higher importance than the issues they should stand for. I truly hope this can be sliced out of politics.
Yeah. Sure. You really live in a DT bubble.Minorities have had an advantage over white people w my example above. For decades.
???? I hired Gels and Kimani instead of John and Steve about 2 years ago w my boss Cathy, thank you. Keep living in denial if you choose. What i jist said is true. Ask gelson Kimani or liz Warren.Yeah. Sure. You really live in a DT bubble.
And with that, I think I am out. Seems like you are so far removed from reality, your head so far up in dreamworld, that there is no sense in discussing anything.
yup. so far gone and backwardsWe're screwed, most of you just don't know it yet.

We live in an information age in which the line between reality and idea is blurry at best. It is both fascinating and terrifying.
“Minorities have had an advantage over white people in America for decades.”
Just when you think you’ve seen it all....
good for you. a notion that leaves many in dismayI think the best way of deterring discrimination would be to remove all identifying marks from the application process. No note of name, race, gender etc. Hard to discriminate against who you don’t know.
Besides that the people are required by law to be notified that they are being removed, which wasnt done.that the removals of the voters appeared to violate federal law because they were not given proper notice and because they qualify as the type of systematic voter roll cleaning that is not permitted within 90 days of a federal election.
interesting. hey scope this:Lets look at the real story, not a Facebook post purposely truncated to leave out the details
Judge blocks voter purge in 2 Georgia counties
Judge Leslie Abrams Gardner, sister of Stacey Abrams, rejected a call for her to recuse.www.politico.com
Counties were trying to remove voters based on UNVERIFIED change of address information
Besides that the people are required by law to be notified that they are being removed, which wasnt done.
Just another example of an attempted voter suppression scheme
I wouldnt doubt that there may be pressure and yes there have been corrupt judges but they are few and far between.interesting. hey scope this:
State courts play a vital role in our democracy. The judges who serve on them are called on to enforce fundamental civil and human rights and to adjudicate millions of cases that directly touch people’s lives. Without fair and impartial state courts, the civil and criminal justice systems break down, becoming yet another means for the powerful to impose their will rather than serve as the last refuge of the powerless. However, because almost every state’s system of judicial selection forces judges to engage in elections and other highly politicized processes to achieve and retain their offices, most state court judges today are under terrific pressure to be accountable to politicians rather than the state and federal constitutions and laws.

hacks
as i already said: i dont buy anything with the lawsuits, dominion, sharpies, observers, etc. i believe what did happen (objectively) that let joe 'win'. people were allowed to vote 3 mos early (the objective part), and that was plenty of time to get ballots whereever they (city officials) wanted. theres no accountability with that, even traditional elections without ID, postage, address on ballots, let alone extended mail in systems; all on the back of heinous behavior (my opinion, subjectivity) by the left the last 4 years. heck, youre all still not over that 2016 election and trying to call out people raising an eyebrow to the 2020 one.I wouldnt doubt that there may be pressure and yes there have been corrupt judges but they are few and far between.
I do believe that most judges, who took an oath to uphold the constitution, to take that oath seriously and abide by it.
The fact that 50+ lawsuits failed because judges, in many cases judges appointed by Trump himself, ruled against him because there was no evidence.
If they felt beholden to him, why would they not allow the cases?
Trump pushed to get Judge Barrett on the bench because he thought she would vote in his favor to over turn the election, along with the other 2 he put up there.
A 6:3 conservative majority didnt side with him. They unanimously said it had no merit. They are not his personal judges, lawyers, defenders.
They work for the people of the United States to uphold the constitution of the United States..
If there had been real evidence they would have heard the cases. Those 1000 sworn affidavits were deemed inaccurate and not credible in many courts. People can swear to whatever they want, it doesnt mean it is true. I can swear the moon is pink with purple polka dots, but its not.

fair point but i do not buy accountability without an ID in person, period. You do realize that in order to vote at all (in person or by mail in ballot), you need to register to vote in the state right? In order to register to vote you need to show ID, a birth certificate (proof you are a US citizen) and residency in the district you are voting in. That is why you dont need to show ID in most states when you actually vote because you already proved who you are. You sign in and they match your signature to an older one. People would have to be pretty damn good forgers to walk in and forge a signature without ever seeing it before.
I have already spent way too much time on this thread and I need to get something else done today.
