The spring breakout today!
There's nothing in the long range forecast of any great concern, and it was nice today if a bit breezy.
Trimmed back a Siberian and Chinese elm, cleaned dead needles out of some junipers, gave everything a deep drink of water.
It's actually been just wet enough all season that I hardly watered.

The Milwaukee Bonsai Society had our annual winter silhouette show. I brought my Japanese hornbeam forest and spent the whole day talking about bonsai. My nephew and future apprentice came to see me too. I'll have him wiring trees in no time.
