Having a slow day at work. As they say "Idle mind is devil's playground"...

And how's that for a forest pot? Maybe urban junky forest? Ground fiber access cover... just kidding.

Ooh, a moss garden!

A few wiring projects;first wiring ever for a single Dwarf Hinoki, a forest of Dwarf Hinokis on a flagstone slab, and a cascade Juniper procumbens.

Looks like j. Chinensis shimpaku to me. Maybe a more close up of the foliage?
Shimpaku would be great. It’s been surprisingly hard to find shimpaku. Thanks for the help

Second day with Julian Tsai for show prep. Big juniper is pretty well finished.

A power washer was used for large amounts of deadwood clean up (not by me. Too much of a chicken to take responsibility for use on show trees). Works very well, but you have to be careful not to hit live vein material. The pressure is high enough to cut live tissue.

This is from Saturday, I met @Vin ! One of the nicest guys you will ever meet.View attachment 508547
Oh, Vin is the young, good looking one.
The "Mullet" may have "Mellowed", but the same is true for John. He has helped me along the way many times and I'll always be grateful for that. Great to finally meet you my friend!

In the process of moving out right now! So I've been very busy, but today I managed to get all my plants on to the deck for easy watering while we pack up. A rare perspective on my collection, it's usually all scattered about...20230914_165925.jpg20230914_165943.jpg

In the process of modifying my grow tent. I created some supports and stapled the mylar to the wood. The goal is to make disassembling it easier and not have to use duct tape to hold the entire thing together xD

Basically each side can be separated and rolled up for storage.

Looks good and looks like you're close to done, but another option is to just use magnets to hold the mylar to the wire rack (sorry I didn't get here sooner ;) )

Picture tax: repotted my bougainvillea cascade into a cheap Chinese pot yesterday and started a thread for it:
