The cooking thread

I ordered some beef ribs from the supermarket and 10 lbs of the stuff turned up. lol
Wasn´t expecting that much. Going to be a long cook.

I just looked at the receipt from when I ordered, turns out I ordered 13lbs of ribs.
They ripped me off 🤣

they do send an updated receipt with what they actually send though so they didn't really.

Honestly just looked at the pics and figured it'd be a kilo or two. Not really complaining.
 
No pics or anything but I made this recipe tonight but substituted chicken mince for the beef mince.
I guarantee you this is a spot on Kebab recipe.
Happy family tonight.

 
International grill day is was.. No pictures. Ground beef patties, infused with herbs from the garden. Roasted bell peppers, courgette. Gentle soft cook of 25 minutes, final crust for 3 minutes.

Do they become crispy done that way...?
Depends on how you like it and how long you cook it. I like it a little crispy. It's also good rolled in parmesan cheese before baking.

Oven 400 degrees, until it's as done as you like it.
 
it was too damn cold to grill.
really? I would say it is never too cold to grill. Main problem in winter is that coals are hard to get. Solved that by just stacking a few bags in the shed for winter.
