So, let me get this straight: you claim to have had a great experience with this seller, then call out all the previous posters who have shared their negative experiences. Yet you won't post a photo of this beautiful tree you received? And you expect people to take you seriously? LOL...

I guess I have to be obvious because some people cannot read a post straight up: What I wrote was this: I was not suggesting that your check was going to bounce. . I was eluding to the possibility that Marc's check to him might bounce; inferring that the sound of the post seemed to suggest being paid for the comment.

Anyway, has anyone posted trees they've bought from The Growing Grounds? (I didn't re-read this whole thread, but I skimmed it again and didn't see any pictures.) I keep hearing how amazing these trees are but I have not seen any... At least not that I remember.

I highly doubt that I'll buy any, simply due to the shear number of bad experiences I've heard. Experience, by the way, is not hot air. I'm glad that some of you have had good experiences, but that doesn't change the fact that there are a lot of bad experiences... .and it's not just small petty things either.

There was one photo in the other thread (referenced on page 1 of this one) of a tree that suffered some damage in transit. I don't think I've ever seen a post with a photo of a tree from Growing Grounds where the purchaser was happy. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, of course. This thread is a perfect opportunity to change that but "5th element" (or whatever) doesn't seem to want to share.

I've looked at the trees on his website (they haven't been updated for more than a year)...some of them look nice but I've always thought the prices seemed high. Given all the negative reports I'd never mail order from them, but I would try to visit if I was ever in the area.

This post was not about what my tree looked like..... it was to say that I had a great experience with Marc. If I post a picture that will just lead to you guys making remarks about it. I personally DONT CARE. I am pleased with the tree and I paid for the tree, therefore it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I just wanted others to know that I will continue to deal with Marc and was glad that I did not stray away from him because of others experiences.
