I mean, I have not seen you make any concrete example why it is a valid point, that the land would be sinking rather than sea level rising. In fact, land surface WILL resettle, because of all the water mass moving from the land into the sea.

There were many other scientists that made quite accurate predictions (and most often underestimates).
Why did the articles you linked ignore these more accurate predictions?
Is that good journalism?
Again, it takes 5 minutes to, in hindsight, cherry pick an outlier and claim, "Aha! All scientists have been wrong forever on everything!"
But finding the truth, like making a nice bonsai, takes more time.

So what predictions have come true? Have we run out of oil yet? Are more people starving today? The western world is using less coal, but the third world (if you can call China and India the third world) are gleefully using more and the clean countries are arguing drastic economic moves to reduce emissions from .000 to .0000 without including China and India. The crap in the seas is the same thing. We're subdividing our trash into at least 3 kinds of outputs while China is dumping at sea, but we need to abstain from plastic straws to save the seas...

But, more importantly, the energy consumption on a per-person basis is in Asia 1/4th of energy consumption in North America. Europe is at about 2 1/2 times the energy consumption of Asia

The predictions of climate doom were either right or wrong. They were wrong, period, and you can't make them right by trying to cite "more accurate predictions of many other scientists," nor can you convince me that suddenly they're going to start being right. Ten years from now, everything doomy they're predicting today will have been proven wrong - yet again. (I have lived through all of their garbage as as adult since the 1970's; been there, heard it, didn't believe it, turned out I was right; and I have a science background, so it's not just thinking I know what I'm talking about when it comes to the scientific method.)
Scam artists never stop scamming, they just seem to have a wider audience of easily fooled or frightened people to work with these days. You can spot them in public by the masks they wear.

@Forsoothe! Even if your theory about sea level rise due to magma displacement and deposition were true and we take the high rates of magma production estimates AND all magma was being deposited on the ocean floor and zero magma was deposited on the land, your prediction only accounts for 2% of the measured sea level rise per year.

I think global warming is possible but I am in doubt that it is human activity that is the cause. In other words; if I don't fart, eat animals that fart, fly in an aiplane, drive a car, or barbecue farting mammals, or burn garbage and shut down coal fired electrical plants we might be able to turn it around? You are better off setting your self on fire to fend off the approaching Ice Age which some scientists are now saying is coming.

@Forsoothe! The earth has been in equilibrium for eons. It's one big conveyor belt system. What's pushed out by vulcanic activity, is pushed back into the core for recycling via the tectonic plate system.
