finally took the dive on buying a tree... Wisteria FTW!

so probably I will wait for it to flower, as I have never seen it in bloom. Then bend.
Probably wont repot this year, but will prepare for 2016.

Just so you know, now that you've cut it back it may not flower again for several years.

so if most probably wont flower this year, I might try this....

Red is the bent branch.
I would love feedback, as direct as you can.

I like it a lot! However, your thickest branch is supposed to be the lowest. Maybe there's a way to switch them around?

I have a friend who makes pots tokoname style. I am just about to ask for a pot like that... Unless anybody has a better idea.

Or this one from a Peter Adams tree?

Or something like this:

I would appreciate any comments. :D

Max, I much prefer the one in the second photo but the color on the first one. The second pot creates a much more graceful image.

So, the trunk is 3 inch thick standing straight up (it will turn like 30 to 45° to the side and might look a bit thicker). How wide and deep do you think the pot should be?
I am thinking in something very similar to the last pot I posted. I was thinking 11"x11"x10"h.

Yeah, that one. With the tree in it!!!:D

Seriously though, this is a good fit for a wisteria.

I searched for semi cascade pot as the tree well go sideways an the flowers will hang.
