CM BONSAI!!

I think I got mine today! But.... I'm at work 😣

Has anyone else received theirs yet?
I got mine and just got finished getting them settled in. One has 7 trunks, which I spread out a bit, and the other has 4 trunks. They are happy trees!

Thanks Curt!

Just got mine a few minutes ago too and they are indeed happy trees!

Did you just slip pot them for now into those pots? From the pics it looks like a mix or organic and bonsai soil, is that right?

It is indeed a mix of cheap potting soil, pumice, lava and turface. It works well for me and I don’t have to water everyday. I simply removed the wrapper and planted the whole cube. Easy peasy.

Not as quick as the others but I got mine and they look great! Five stars on this purchase...:D

I'll get them in starter pots tonight!

Yep, mine arrived as well, super healthy and well packed!

Thank you Curt!!!!!

Anyone else notice that even though they're elms, they have opposing buds instead of alternating?
@cmeg1, is that just amazing your method works that it puts out buds wherever it can? Because if so that's amazing 👌👌

I got my order of 2 cubes today, a bargan with total of 16 seedlings
Very healthy, low branching, ready to tray plant in the morning.
Thanks!

Just looked at some of the past pictures and it looks like some are opposite and some are alternate. Very interesting. Didn't notice this in the ones I got from him. Ill have to take a look when I get home.

Got mine potted up this morning! It appears very healthy! I was worried how it would handle the trip from coast to coast, but it looks perfect. Thanks @cmeg1 !

Thankfully I had enough soil ingredients to fill this small pot. Used a bit of bonsai jack soil, added some repti-bark, some lava rock, and bit of coco coir in order to get enough to fill the pot. I look forward to seeing where this goes in the coming years!

I say one year and you’ll have qty4!——-nearly 2” trunks.
I’ll have these every year……..sometimes in their 2nd year some are prone to black spot……I usually just toss them,……..others are genetically superior though.

Can always treat with hydro peroxide……..I sell these cheaply………they layer easily too!

Here is mine not even at the two year mark…… I start it a couple months early every season indoors though……….a progression started with a whip in jan22……..now picture about 3-7 of these trunks!………and very reliable ramification(last picture)……I very excited to clean up the ramification this Winter…….getting gnarly already……clip and grow!DF708455-2034-4643-82F0-597D01DE44B3.jpeg97793CB9-34CB-4F92-A822-42AF31BE4BAE.jpegE0B17C95-DF79-477B-ACF3-6417B8CF963C.jpeg7E3A0B25-A1BB-4DDF-9749-B803AEECE9F1.jpeg2C05D1EA-E172-4AFE-9D53-E520B700E46B.jpegEDA92011-2F00-4DB1-9A4C-3ACB1C92006F.jpeg

Received my order! Very happy with them. Thanks! Kind of having a hard time deciding what to do with them this time of year. Should I repot out of the cubes now? Would it be ok to separate them?

Mine were supposed to arrive Saturday but the post office messed up and sent them on to another town instead of out for delivery. Kind of annoying they made it to my local post office and then got sent away... hopefully they wil;l make it here before they dry out. I'm glad to hear they are packed well.

Based on the packaging, the excellent health of my trees, and the way the rock wool seemed to hold water, I am hopeful that yours will be ok.
