Bonsai at work…

These things don't exactly grow on trees, if you catch my drift lol. Especially nice ones.
Yup, I get it. I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw Judy put this one up for sale...I feel very lucky to have it.

Pull that lower left branch up a little.. $0.02 (out near the end of the branch, maybe just the pic makes it look awkward)
Hey, that's my signature "dropped branch"!! :D
Seriously, It's the angle of the picture. Fwiw, this one still needs a ton of wire and all the branches to be placed...and it needs a planting angle change.

I love the hollows this tree has, great tree!

Honestly, the tree's been styled with the front shown in the second picture in mind, but I agree that the trunk in the upper half of the tree looks great from the first vantage point. Hopefully, I'll finish the wiring today and make a decision, though I believe it could be shown either way. Thanks for the input, guys.

Yes first pic for me too. Dave are you planning to round off the apex?
Yes, though some of what you're seeing there is based on camera angle exaggerating the "pointiness" of the apex. Also, I started wiring this one over 2 months ago, and it got put aside and never finished due to the early start to repot season, and the top still need a fair bit of wire. Thanks for your thoughts, Sergio.

First pic is more inviting.

Though....the second pic shows a good..
round off the apex

With that one piece removed...

Don't know how well that would translat from the other view.

Here's to a few missed appointments!
