My boss refused to let anyones hobbies migrate to work. While we had occasional slow times, the was always something needing to be caught up on. He even barked if he caught you web surfing.

I have quit every job I have had, except for this one so far, because of the above reason, like I am supposed to be more concerned about getting work done before it is demanded by the bosses. It is employment, and employment is not life, Pleasure is.

What do you do for a living that allows this Dave? I'm a computer programmer and my boss wouldn't allow any of these shenanigans. So color me shocked.

The very first post in this thread might give you a clue... maybe . I'll also let you know that I usually only work on my trees at work during my lunch or in between appointments... and I have usually been able to get free heartworm prevention as a work benefit.

When my wife made me move to metro Atlanta, I told her this was the farthest south and west I could ever live... and when she made me move to metro Detroit, I told her this was the farthest north I could ever live... and besides, I'm old and jaded, and German Shepherds like me even less then when I first started half a lifetime ago.... but I'll ask my wife anyway... because I've seen your trees .
