Autumn colours

Here is another one that colored up after I planted it for the winter. Not much of a tree yet but nice color.

I think blueberries have terrific autumn colour in general, and seem hold their leaves for a long time. I have one in the garden that we grow for fruit, which seems to stay red for a couple of months. I must get round to layering a branch off for a bonsai.

Here's a Japanese maple from a seedling. It's unusual in that it has survived 30 below while in the ground. I dug it from the garden last spring.
