So I cleaned out one of my humidity trays instead. Composted the algae

Repotted this twin trunk dawn redwood today in a pot I made fresh out of the kiln. I’m liking how the unglazed reddish brown pot compliments the trunk. The pot is a little large but I’m ok with it.

After some months of "bonsai depression" because the "death" of my most loved trees, It seems I'm feeling good again about trees, and so, today, I thought I could develop this composition in a slab, with a calliandra brevipes . Still hesitant, but maybe this evening.....

Potted up this Miss Kim dwarf Lilac into a pot from Bentpine Pottery . The glaze reminds me of a rainbow trout lol .

Did some maintenance on my first tree, absolutely love it to bits and holds a special place in my heart. It's come a long way in the past 3 years and I know it will only get more beautiful as time progresses.

Repotted and cut the tap root of this live oak I've grown from seed. Accidentally cut more off than anticipated. Going to give it some mixed shade to help ease its recovery.

The ground is still frozen, but it’s 50° out with a stiff 20 mph breeze coming out of the west… Perfect for refining deadwood before repotting

Weather is good building part 1 of three !
Still need to replace the fence and probably i will rebuild the bench after that but for now this will do

Went out with Knoxville Bonsai Society for our collection day at a member's property and got 4 new trees. I like the smaller elegant ones. We had a great day with perfect weather.
