Exciting times! Right now reviewing the material. Yes, all ~300 pages.

Best of luck with your exams Jelle!

1: Removed a few more benches from crates in anticipation of the covered wagon bringing more trees. Still hoping to break ground on the greenhouse this year still.

2: Chatted with Ryan about the recovering Sierra Juniper that was badly damaged from the heat a couple years ago. Changing the nutrition has led to a significant rebound in the tree’s health this last year and allowed us to set the structure again.

Got the cedar roof on my shed

I was a little concerned about our mediocre craftsmanship but I was able to stand on the roof without it caving in so that's a win.

Told my mom to help trim the extra foam on the floor insulation. Now she wants me to buy her a M12 multi-tool

Most of the trimboard is up. Bench is setup. Need to seal the roof before putting in the greenhouse panels.

Things passing neighbors have asked if I'm building:
Chicken coop
Sauna
She-shed
Air-bnb guest house

After that last big planting in the swamp, I had some left over. I put them in a 5 gallon bucket, filled alway with water, a couple drops of bifenthrin to prevent mosquitoes, and didn’t touch them for almost 3 weeks. The time is now or they will die.

Today I took them out and wired them all with a 90 deg bend at the base. I planted them as a forest. I know I will have fun removing the wire next year.

Forgot to mention that I weaved the roots together on purpose. That smooth soil top belies the hopelessly tangled root mass below. I might not be able to remove all that wire when the time comes to remove it.

Hello....I am interested in a twisted pomegranate. Do you have any left? If so how much are you asking? Thank you a bunch

I will probably be overwintering it for them when they go to Florida.
I'll not be doing this again!

It's possible that it comes back, but not gonna hold my breath. I've bought back worse.
She assured me it would get full Sun, now she tells me it was on a covered porch and not getting Sun.
The back porch was supposed to get more sunlight, but now she said only after 4pm does it get Sun.
It's pretty soggy. A very smart and with it 80 year old, I felt reassured it would be safe...

People just don't understand. I've tried to explain "water every day in summer" to a number of people and it just doesn't sink in.

No they don't. She did great with hanging baskets lol. I just don't think it dried out enough.
That or dried out too much in the heat wave, then drowned when she texted asking for help.
She said she scratched the surface in the mornings, and it was damp, but 100% RH every night
isn't enough to get into the core 🤷‍♂️. That was her 1st please help SOS. Today she gave it back to me.

Got some wire on a kishu last couple days. Most branches are being regrown
and will be repotting next year. So I left a lot of foliage. Top will be removed eventually.

I am doing the rescue work on two large collected BCs myself. Just got my hands on them yesterday. Will post pictures later.
