@NateDyk47 We usually get to freezing temps for about an hour or two per year, so no risk. These go right back out on the display pedestals.
Wow! That's amazing progress. I hope I'm lucky enough to get an opportunity like that some day.Can I just take a minute to compare my skillset from last year to now?

I do this a lot and have been for years now, I find its helped me a lot. Its a shame, that many folk just dont see the value in photographing your trees. The thing that helps me alot is taking a picture and adjusting things based on that. It’s easy to miss things while looking at the tree in 3D.
That makes sense, sure. Much appreciated. The thing that helps me alot is taking a picture and adjusting things based on that. It’s easy to miss things while looking at the tree in 3D.

That's an interesting topic on its own... and apologize for cutting into this thread. I struggle with this one as I often I feel the tree looks good in 3D... than I take a photo (and I do take a lot of photos of my trees)... and my conclusion is the photo doesn't make the justice to what the tree looks like in reality.I do this a lot and have been for years now, I find its helped me a lot. If I have a branch that looks too long and straight on a photo, it probably did in 3d too but I just didnt notice it yet.

How do you handle that type of dilemma between (1) crap photo that doesn't do the justice, and (2) I must have been wrong looking at the tree in 3D?
The whole process took half a day, but the actual bend only took a few minutes.Awesome material. How long did that bend take?
Is that super thick aluminum wire? Does the sensei prefer that over copper for this sort of work?
Damn… that’s something I’d be spending a half day just warming up the branch, ha. Did that single wire hold it? Or did you guy wire to finish it off?The whole process took half a day, but the actual bend only took a few minutes.
