Mame contest idea

@defra ... pulling my Goji. Was advised to put in a larger pot and potting soil to thicken its trunk. So it won't be seeing a mame size pot in a good 3 years or so. Not sure where to post it's withdrawal.

Here is just fine
Noted !
You gotta do what you think is right for your tree ill love to see it progress into something nice!

Perhaps, you could kindly share, Darlene :)
It's growing so faaaast
The photo is one of Scott's...not mine. He isn't even selling the 3 year cuttings yet. He wants them to be nicer stock even more. I know one asked him awhile back...and he wasn't selling them yet.

Thanks for responding, Darlene.
I think I mislead you, obviously... I was referring to the "advice" regarding growing/culture techniques as bonsai, if any... :)
I can find Goji berry plants here (raw stock) in nurseries of fruit-bearing plants, so I thought I could give them a try in the future.

Ahhh wait until spring and take some cuttings...place them in an oversized pot with potting soil. They at this time are not bonsai. But will beef up quicker than if in proper bonsai soil. That's all I know. I trust him...(Scott) he grew my Ginkgo from a cutting. I've seen his Goji which are impressive. If I can thicken my trunk so it doesn't look pencil thin...maybe I will love it more.

Ok. I could enter this, but feel free to disqualify me if it's further along than you think is allowed.

You might remember this.

It's sort of a cute little first year cutting then. Over vacation, one of two of the root cuttings died. It grew some and I decided to have a real bonsai out of it. It has no trunk so outside of the movement, I have nothing. I decide to create the illusion of density by compacting it.
