I noticed about a month ago that certain branches were growing much stronger than others....so I cut back the strong ones.
Now the other branches are strong and they are getting long.....

It seems like the tree is out of balance with that kind of growth.
I needed to remove the wire from the low branch.
Some of the other branches needed wire.

So I went in and cut it back hard.....and wired a few branches.
Now its all set up to roll on through the hottest part of the year.....I will reassess when it comes indoors in fall.
Last pic is going to be the new front....making the lowest branch on the right instead of the back.

Thanks @fredman.
I bend it a little more each time. Haven't snapped a branch yet!
Yeah slow is the way to go...bit by bit. This is a 1 1/4" branch. Been bending it bits at a time for the 3rd year now.

WoW look at that nebari. That little thing is just to cute and beautiful mate....healthy and happy. What soil you have it in?
That's a pebble topping...right?

Looking good. They are fun to play with and almost indestructible.

Thanks!
Its in a "tropical mix" that came from Eastern Leaf Bonsai....I think....its been a while.....I was just curious.
I think its river sand/stone with haydite, maybe....I'm not too sure honestly....but it does well.

Is this the front? If the front is undecided this is my vote.

This is a winner in my book - I absolutely love it 👍
The original tree is fantastic as well 👍
