What about the decrease in voting booths for low income areas. Huge decreases in the past 4 years in low income areas. Makes it almost impossible to vote. The same areas where people are all paid by the hour and they have to wait in line all day to vote. Losing out on a days pay. Malarkey!

trust me - if that was all holding back the vote, politicians would take care of it real quick. but in true low income areas, they arent losing any pay because they dont work or work parttime. its a cultural issue - too many poor and uneducated folks do not vote at all - and because that demographic is largely composed of minorities its reflected in the stats. sadly - way too many fail to vote in local elections where they would have more control over their representation and better chances at improving their local climate.

bottom line, if you can find time to go see a movie, play xbox or walk around the mall - you can find time to vote.
