Well… the day is still progressing. So far:
DSD sends
- Sifted recycled media from yesterday’s batch.
- Added more akakadama and biochar to above media to make 5 gals of conifer media in total.
- Sifted small and medium and small pumice. Mixed with biochar to make 5 more gallons of media for big satsuki repot next week.
- Pulled Vine Maple out of pot, sorted roots on the plate that was already there and up potted in a wooden box.
- Pruned back and trimmed protruding roots off of 19 other Japanese and Trident maples in boxes already.
- Pruned 10 Trident and Japanese maples in garden beds.
- After late lunch will set up a flat of seedling mix in a tray and strike over 50 assorted kurume and Satsuki azaleas.
- Maybe quit, or if enough bandwidth will measure old benches and create a materials buy list for Saturday to build 3-5 more small benches.
