Re-potted ( more accurately slip-potted) my fairytale glossy privet. I didn't prune any roots, just slipped it into a round pot a bit smaller than the mortar tub it was in. One season's growth from a bare stump. It's even got a few tertiary branches already. That's a 20" ID pot.

Can anyone tell me what it is?

Pics are not clear enough for a real accurate ID but my gut also says privet. A quite sad looking privet too. Foliage and some shoots look quite dehydrated. Fortunately Ligustrum is VERY hardy.

I bought this stand from
Amazon and put it together. As well as pruned and cleaned up the new privet in the center I bought yesterday. Plan is to let it just settle in its new home.
Up next will be some better grow lights but at least for now it’s pretty

Nice set up! Those junipers though are not going to like being inside!!!

Obligatory photo tax... I pruned a client's overgrown juniperus chinensis and figured Id try to strike cuttings with the trimmings which were VERY strong and healthy. Also dug up from their flower bed another juniperus virginiana which actualy has a very nice low trunk movement. Going to pot that later.

The cuttings in the grow out bed... might do even more inside to see if I can root em under lights in a humidy dome:




Probably about 10 or 12 in there.
