What’s your latest Bonsai related purchase?

I always wanted very old juniper with massive deadwood and a lot of work to do... here is the material I finally hunted down here in Shanghai. After long negotiations we cut it at $270... I think it's a steal. But tones of work to do on this one. It's the variety I never dealt with... hope somebody could help with identification... my app says different things depending on the photo :)

Thought sone of you guys might find this interesting . Lee Valley Tools. Based in Ottawa Canada . But they have a online shop . And ship everywhere . These are not as high quality as Japanese leaf shears. But the price can’t be beat. Remember that’s in Canadian Dollars , currently about . 71 cents to the US dollar . I think any of you not familiar with LV will not have trouble finding enough stuff to make the shipping worthwhile. Specialist in garden kitchen and woodworking tools . Mostly quality hand tools
