Godzilla?



Everybody knows about Godzilla! This picture was taken last January, before the hollow trunk got lime sulfured, just after being potted into that pot. It’s not oiled, so the pot looks rather plain, but it’s REAL nice!

I worked on Godzilla 7 years ago. Removed the wire Peter Tea had but on 3 years before that, and pulled needles.

That trunk is as wide as your thigh!

One of my favorite trees there was a literati hornbeam, for some reason it really spoke to me

Here’s an overhead, slightly rearward photo of the scar. His winning maple was definitely produced by trunk chop.
