TV shows & movies with bonsai in them?

Seems several fans of great saga here😊. Read several Dune books many years ago
Oh, you don’t even know the half of it! 😝 I’ve read all 6 of the original Dune books and a few of the ones his son co-wrote with Kevin J. Anderson. I’ve watched the David Lynch movie countless times. Same for both of the Sci-Fi Channel’s mini-series. I can recite the Litany Against Fear from memory. Oh, and I cosplayed as a Fremen when I went to the theater to see the new Denis Villeneuve film.

I have to ask, how are his son's books? I've been warned against them by one person. Loved the original 6, and didn't want to spoil them if his son's were sub-par.

They’re mediocre, which is why I only read a few of them.

I did not like them, but cannot remember why. I read them as soon as they came out. Just did not meet the original standards.

My recollection is that they were overly formulaic and repetitive (the trials to become a Swordmaster of Ginaz are the chief example that comes to mind… repetitive to the point of being boring).

Errrr Cowboy Bebop…”again”! But with live action bonsai this time in the new series. Loads of them!

The television series "My Heroic Husband" had bonsai displayed in many of the sets.
