whats the rule about multiple branches coming from the same point, except for it would be the leader/apex? I have a crab apple and the top branch has 4 coming from the same spot.. they are all over pencil thick at this point...
interesting enough
Rap.discordant sound and try to call it music, or good
I like some rap music...Rap.
If the guitars don't sound like buzz saws and the vocalist isn't screaming it doesn't do a thing for me.I like some rap music...![]()
Then there's the skinny white kid from the desert that listens to N.W.A. and Wu Tang Clan. LolIf the guitars don't sound like buzz saws and the vocalist isn't screaming it doesn't do a thing for me.
Think Judas Priest. Or Megadeth.
I have to say, with authority, Nicks work, his bonsai compositions, where 90% cool naturalistic bonsai trees. Those that were out-there, weird ones, often with non-tree themes, were the offspring of playfulness and boredom, often coupled with haveing oddball material. He really focused on the art and not so much on the traditions of bonsai, as a result when he studied plants coming from the woods or his garden he could not help himself when he would see something--like a mouth, or a tail, or George Bush's face. Really he never set out to do controversial things--it's not his way. He did enjoy thumbing his nose at the old-boy establishment though. Sometimes he was inspired to make highly contrived sculptural things but they always were well designed and always seemed to tell a big story. Anyway, his long work doing bonsai was mostly just great well-designed trees. But then I have a great affection for his off-the-wall ones.Successful art makes people think. If that also makes them argue, that's a side effect. The fact that controversy can be negative does not mean that great art that causes controversy is not great. That's just your arbitrary definition. Other people would clearly disagree. I actually love art where the only intention is to stir up trouble because I think it's important to rock the boat sometimes and get people thinking. So for me, the more controversial the better. Who gets to decide? It's in the eye of the artist and the eye of the beholder. And you'll get a wide variety of opinions on that.
To what end? Why not make trees with the intention of being controversial? Nick Lenz, one of the great American bonsai artists, does nothing but make controversial trees, and they're great!
Sure Maros, I've got hundreds of rock albums + one with Christmas songs.Questions which come to my mind are:
Can one listen to more genres...?
I'll at least listen once or a worthy some, to anything, but I prefer to be able to understand their words, (and not just a few repeated over and over and...), and the music toned enough that I'm not in a constant adrenalin dropping mode. I like ongs with well written and legibly sung stories. Since I have no musical talent/inclination/ability/knowledge, my criteria for "music" is a decent beat, non discordant/disharmony, no adrenalin forcing, something to have in the background without it striving for center stage.Questions which come to my mind are:
Can one listen to more genres ... and enjoy them all?
