My Grandaughter works the Meat Counter at a local Grocery and gets a 10% discount and so some Wagyu was on Sale, decided to try it, will let you know...

< consider it similar to Filet Mignon,Very Flavorful, Very Tender, however Filet is half the price....the one in my photos was 9 oz, 1/2" thick...cooked Medium Rare + a little to the Well side....3 1/2 minutes....
I have recently enjoyed Ribeye, NY Strip, Filet Mignon so I think my comparison is Ligimate...<

I had a smallish round propane fired outdoor grill for years on my Condo Patio, got rid of it this year and went to the GF for Steaks, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Misc.....I use my Oven for Ribs and Roasts...Its a Mental Thing....

It does seem "mental" to cook a good steak on a GF, but to each his own. No offense. ;)

Best slice and eat alone cheese EVER ! ! !
Sorry Wisconsin this stuff is addictive. Dry but enough moisture to hold a thin slice, (see crumbs) pungent but doesn't promote bad breath or linger forever.
I like my drink and smoke strong and this fills the bill

If I can find it I will try it.....
 
For all the GF users here, a Tip for doing Steaks.....I liberally Butter my grill both top and bottom, let it get up to Temperature before placing Steak,Steaks on the Grill,after a minute or two push down on the Grill top and it helps Form the Grill Mark's on your Steak....Oilaaa the perfect Steak.

Just to clarify. I enjoy grilling outside for the relaxation as much as the taste. Sitting outside on a nice summer evening with a book and a beer. Just a little thing I enjoy.
