The positioning WAS a main alteration. This is a different burner, actually.. i wanted to do a “recorded” run with both of my “flames” to compare/contrast.

For side and upside down firing glazed pieces.
This wadding is fireclay, silica sand, coffee grounds, and firebrick dust.

The shells calcine and react with the glaze, but dissolve in water.

So if you had to fully glaze your pieces to keep em from taking water, it's possible.

Seems like you don't though!

Same shit.. matured the clay.. glazes didn’t glaze.. i realized a HUGE problem in my “kiln environment”... that brick there.. y’see it? That’s not efficient.. it’s impeding.

Sooo I removed it... and re-stacked my shelves... one is now at a SLIGHT angle.... but i’m not suuuuper concerned about it.

That brick was “stealing” from me... and “doofus-ifying” my ignition/environment... I hope this helps.

Also... with the Unregulated “weed burner/ice melter” I blew for 11.5 hrs on a tank.

With the regulator and “Forge-blower”.. I can blow at least 24 hours.. maybe more...

So until I get a regulator that works with the “weed burner” heating unit.. that extra TIME provided by using the “forge-blower” seems more valuable than that quick climb of the other.

Hey I like it.
and you going way farther towards Sourcery than my , mix this stuff up, try a cool shape, burn it in the pit with some random crap thrown on at the end with some more fuel, and let’s see what happens. Lol
Actually that reminds me. There are pots buried in the pit that need retrieving. hopefully something cool happened in Crawforde’s Chaos in the Swamp.
