Team Albizia Julibrissin

Technically it is illegal to propagate a patented plant in any way.
Pretty sure mimosa cuttings don't root though root cuttings will. Root cutting will be common mimosa rootstock and will not have darker foliage of the chocolate variety.
I genuinely hope your efforts are rewarded.
Interesting, thanks for the information

From a study from Harvard University:
"Albizia julibrissin does not propagate from ordinary stem cuttings but can be reproduced from root cuttings taken in late winter or early spring. Commercial nursery practice is to take root pieces in spring and line them out in nursery rows."
My own knowledge of this information was from Dirr's book on woody plant propagation. Apparently Harvard agrees.

Post your seedlings too! I wanna see updates from our look-a-like trees
the Brazillian Leopards? No noteworthy change at the moment but the weather has been cool again with not much sun so I haven’t updated their thread.

As for the missing Albizia seeds, yeah those are not coming. Should have arrived by now so definitely either lost or confiscated due to their mislabeling.

You should try to order some new seeds. I’ve seen other websites that’ll sell like 50 of them for $5.00. Also yes I mean the leopards :)

No worry my friend. This cotyledon leaves should drop off. From a quick google search read this:

Cotyledons are the first leaves produced by plants. Cotyledons are not considered true leaves and are sometimes referred to as "seed leaves," because they are actually part of the seed or embryo of the plant. The seed leaves serve to access the stored nutrients in the seed, feeding it until the true leaves develop and begin photosynthesizing.

It’s kis

It’s just strange that my bigger Albizias haven’t yellowed at all. I broke up the soil a bit in case the roots weren’t getting air

The picture you offered showed the cotyledon leaves yellowing. This is normal. Do you have true leaves yellowing?

Then it is the nature of the beast. No worry.
Keep a lookout for spider mites though.

The only problem I have right now on my Jade is flea beetles and scale bugs. It’s been too cold to take it outside to spray and I work today and tomorrow sadly. But Sunday I’ll probably take some Neem oil to it
