Team Albizia Julibrissin

Off topic but I made Bonsai’s out of junipers for the first time. Kinda messed up the cascade cause an important branch broke :(

Pictures of progression of seeds. 1-Seeds as received shown with nail clippers. 2-Sample of seed clipped. Soaked 24 hours. 4-Two days in pot, one is up and three more visible.

The little one passed away :( Found him slumped over and closed up
 
Still no seeds for me. Beginning to wonder if they have been taken by customs if they were falsely labeled as BRT.

But meanwhile I am really enjoying my little Brazilian Ironwood/Leopard tree seedlings.

Wasn’t much of a yield from 10 seeds though. 3 strong ones and a deformed little thing that refuses to quit. There were 4 others but they faded out early on and never really got going.

I think the wire I used to support my oldest helped. It’s newest set of leaves aren’t slumping over nearly as bad. Got the Covid vaccine and had a bad reaction to it so I left work early. They along with my newest bonsais keep me good company
 
I just make some cuttings of Chocolate albizia.... Fingers crossed... By the way its technically illegal to propagate that cultivar right? because its patented or something 😂

strange that it might be illegal. I just made some cuttings out of my big Jade. Looking forward to having more and possibly selling them somehow
 
Technically it is illegal to propagate a patented plant in any way.
Pretty sure mimosa cuttings don't root though root cuttings will. Root cutting will be common mimosa rootstock and will not have darker foliage of the chocolate variety.
I genuinely hope your efforts are rewarded.
