Sorce pots

I met Sorce for the first time this week end when he came up from Chicago to visit our show and delver to me one of his pots. Both were not exactly what I expected and I instantly became fond of both. Sorce is a unique individual capable of great work in his pottery endeavor. Impressive work. I look forward to having another of my Mugo bonsai in the pottery of an American artist. I have this pot infront of me and it is both elegant in shape and strong; rings like a bell and has a nice bottom without depression capable of holding little puddles of water that poison a soil ball. If I can get on my feet by tomorrow I plan to get a tree in it. Spent almost every waking hour at our clubs show this weekend.

Just wanted to chip in and praise @sorce for these lovely pots. Well done mate. It's a pity I'm not over there in the US.

Thank you friend!

I have a pot here for TomB.
I'll have one for you too!

Serious about getting someone to take some back and ship em round there.
Lessin I can get over the ridiculous price to ship em!

@sorce are you handbuilding you rectangles are you using a stencil or just eyeing it. I have been wheel throwing some pots and curious on doing ovals rectangles etc

I realized my pots are a little thicker than most....cuz a the windowsill!

I really like the thicker pots. Especially when they are a touch uneven and don’t look machine made. Good work Sorce.

I hope you can use that for an accent piece.

The "spill" is melted backyard clay, which is also the glaze on the pots.
I dropped that square slab which created one corner dent, then dented the other 3 for feet!

Thanks for posting that! I would've forgot where it went!

Plus one for the list please!

If we get enough to come over here does it reduce the postage?
