Wish I could screen grab the current readings from my temperature sensors but it won't let me.

Right now the sensor on my deck is reading 13.5 F 🥶.
The sensor near the back side (near the house) of my coldframe is reading 30.9 F.

❤️ that coldframe!!

One of the warmest Christmas forecasts I can remember. We've been down to 21°F, but I'm ready for a long stretch of freezing temperatures. I need...
...no, my trees need some dormancy weather.

finally. After 3 days of fog with visibility at about 300 ft/ 100m overnight spies cleared, termperatures dropped and I woke up to everything sitting in the crisper.Sadly this is just for one night. Back to drizzle it seems after this. Seems like it will be another winter where winter does get a foothold and the sun doesn't shine..

Similar problems here, only on the opposite end of the spectrum. We've had colder temperatures than we're used to, but every threat of precipitation dries up on contact. Except for 2 big snow storms there's been nothing at all. It's usually the other way around; lots of little flurries, and only one or two heavy storms all season.

It was 56F today...That doesn't happen very often this late in the year. Getting rain instead of snow this week. I'll believe the forecast for next Sunday when I see it. :)
Sunshine similar to Leatherback the last few weeks, but TV and movies has taught me Germany is cloudy. ;)

Winter storm warning here starting tomorrow night until Monday. They're calling for 8 inches of snow with maybe sleet and ice first depending on where you are. I went to the grocery store after work because that's when I usually go and it was like the end of the world was coming. The shelves were ransacked and the poor workers looked beat up. I know they always say to make sure you have the staples of bread, milk and eggs, which were pretty much gone. I picked up coffee, beer and cigarettes. 🤷‍♀️

Breakfast of Champions. ;)

Just cold here, no snow besides flurries that didn't stick.

Expecting a big cool down here over the weekend through the end of next week. I guess sometimes we do get what we ask for.

At least you got something with calories. (It wasn't light beer, was it?)
Around here, if we have flurries in the forecast, the stores are so empty that the shoppers stalk the stockers.
