The three Ficus’ actually have nicely developed root bases and taper, but you’ll have to take my word for it. I have the soil piled around the bases of the trunks, so each is a bit taller than it appears.

I stuck a ginkgo leaf in water to see if this would happen. Stayed green for weeks and then i tossed it, lol. Very cool

It is a larch I grew from a 4 inch seedling over some 7 year period.
