I made fun of somebody on Facebook the other day because they asked where to buy those special bonsai lighters. Now here I am and I don’t have a bonsai lighter, but here’s my smallest with my special bonsai shades

These are so cute!! My smallest bonsai is a forest of seedlings. I lost a couple but most are growing ok.

Here are a couple of photos of my smallest pots. The red and blue ceramic pots are Japanese, have a drainage hole and even three feet.

The other two containers are sterling silver made by one of my friends who is a goldsmith. They have a drainage hole, wire holes and are even signed.

My only real mame, although there's a few seedlings that might become mame in the future.

It's a C. pisifera "Cumulus" from Iseli Nursery. 4" high. I put it in a bonsai pot for the first time this year. I'll thin it out and maybe add a bit of wire in the fall or winter.
