This one is pretty far along now and in a 5 gallon pot, but still 45 lbs.

3 days later, finished defoliation and wiring the pig. Moving right along this one is... I have taken shots all the way around the tree, wish I were savvy enough to make a turning vid. Anyway here are the first 5 starting at the front. Last side will have to post separately as can only post 5 at a time...

I did move the lowest right side branch flatter a bit after looking at the photos, it looked a bit unnatural as far as placement. Better flatter.

I had also forgotten how it looked when I got it, I went back and it's a fast developing tree for sure. Lots of work, but worth it! Thanks Dave!

Agree with that. Often we think of a nice pairing between tree and container or accent plant. In this case good pairing of tree and caretaker...Always enjoy seeing updates on our favorite Piglett.

At least 4 years for this one... unless it really takes off! This is the first tree I've ever completely defoliated, kinda scary all on it's own. But was a lot of fun actually!GREAT work Juds!!! Nationals here comes Piglett!
