Thanks Tom. I am planning on moving it to a bigger training pot but can't because of my wintering location (garage). This will be a slow process building the branches but the good thing is that it grows really fast. All the branches you see are grown last year with numerous pruning.
I am very happy with this and already looking for carving designs that will best fit this tree. The 2 major chops are still as they were...straight and flat.
The trunk reminds me of a giant sequoia tree. I like the movement you've created in the top half of the tree, a lot more than you often see in a log wood. It just needs to fill in a bit more. Nicely done!
I still need to wire some of the branches (esp the lower left one). I avoid it as much as possible since they grow so fast and wires bite in just couple of months but have no choice on a few. It will be mostly clip and grow after that though.
I also need to clean some of the "suckers" but letting them until the top fill in with more w/ foliage.
