Mame pots on a mini pottery wheel

You could connect the motor to a credenza dimmer to manage the power. It could blow up though depending on how it is made. At your own risk!
I've since made plans to build my own mini pottery wheel. I have everything except the block bearings and the shaft for the wheel head.......yet another project that needs to get done before the summer is over.

The Australia sale went through so that would be 2 international sales in 1 week. It's a good feeling to know that I'm getting noticed outside the USA. So now I have just 1 pot left that's from my Batch #1. This pot is reserved for the 10K views of this thread.

I'm slowing progressing with pots for Batch #2. I finished these 2 pots this past weekend, for these two I'm going to play with some glaze combos.

Yet more neat little feet! 😀
This pot was actually made last week, but it was sitting in the damp box. I wanted the feet to be identical on this one so I made a model and then made a mold of the model. It took some time to do it all but I'm glad I did as all the feet are identical. I'm not sure if I'll ever use this mold again though.

I have some other feet I want to make molds of but these will be a bit more labor intensive since I made them with clay. For the pot above I used Sculpey polymer clay for the model of the foot. These clay feet will involve making a silicone mold of the feet, then casting a resin cast, then using the resin piece to make a plaster mold. More work but I think I'll be able to use these feet on other pots if the feet and pot match, who knows?

I was not to fond on making and using molds before, but I'm also not to fond on trying to make multiple feet by hand all looking the same either.

Very wise move. Lets you meet your own exacting standards, every time -- especially next year, when there's a wait list for customer favorites. 😉

Now you have me wondering who has a favorite 😁

So this one is getting boxed up tonight and shipped off to Australia tomorrow. You'll notice that this tomobako is stained and sealed. This is to ensure it passes through customs with no issues as they have a no import on untreated wood.

Love that color, it's exactly the same as my nail polish! The stained box is also really nice.

Much as I like/love all the pots and glazes you've shown...
These two called to me the most:

(though the one on the left is scary-tiny!)

Just sayin'...and curious to see if anyone else feels same!
Those two were favorites of mine as well.....they are in my keeper box, lol.

Let me see if what I can make this weekend. It's just making those feet for hours really hurt my eyes.

So after being asked multiple times if I have an Instagram account…..I finally made one last night.

If you go to my site www.pit-eka.com on the home page towards the bottom I have the Instagram icon, clicking the icon should take you directly to my Instagram profile.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could like or share whatever pictures you like, thanks!

Sweet, I was your 2nd follower. I feel so special

This is a great color. I have not used it in awhile myself because I have been busy with my non-glazed pots.
If I was inclined toward nail polish I would use it on my fingers and toes, and a lipstick of the same color. ;)
