Mame pots on a mini pottery wheel

@Eric Schrader did a fantastic job on this unboxing video. Huge thanks to him for putting this together. I would like to add that he has a ton of awesome informational videos on YouTube. You should check out his channel and subscribe.......I'm literally hooked watching his videos! @Hartinez thanks for making the connection!

Thanks Pitoon and Hartinez! Had fun making the video and loving the pots. Pretty soon Pitoon's problem will be that he has people chasing him for pots faster than he can keep up.

I need to make 5 pots every two weeks to have Batch #2 on schedule.....still trying to figure out how I'm going to do that.

Just giving a heads up that the mini pottery wheel is really not that great. The reviews on amazon was true to word........ basically junk, lol.

I still got it anyways with the intentions of swapping the motor and adding a splash pan. I've still not been able to find a motor small enough with the correct RPM and enough torque to improve it. I've found a pan that might work with the wheel head.
You could connect the motor to a credenza dimmer to manage the power. It could blow up though depending on how it is made. At your own risk!

You can only vary the speed of a DC motor by metering the amount of current it receives. An AC motor will be ruined by that.

Are you going to be selling these?
Eventually, yes. These will be for the mame pots.........I'm actually planning out a design for a mini saw mill. Once I get that done I will be able to offer larger jitta's. These little one's I'm sawing by hand, it would take weeks to saw a large one and I doubt it would be possible to get an even slab sawing by hand. The burl is to expensive to joke around with.

I'm thinking to maybe take a pause after Batch #2. I have too many projects that I need to get done before summer is over.

Darn pretty for oak.
I have some cherry burl I need to cut up too. They are a little smaller though. They should look really interesting as cherry darkens with age.
