Just saying.... but I do care about whom I give my trees away. I have experienced bad outcomes before thinking they were in good hands but they all dead after the winter. The people I gave my special Wrightia Religiosa to left them out in the cold to die. These people love gardening and flower. No more give away without some kind of reassurance that they know how to care for them. As Uncle C said, you are not making much money by selling trees... too much work!

I lurk over on r/bonsai on Reddit and one of the users recently bought 2 Mirai trees as well as 2 Bjorn trees in the last month or so. Pretty interesting stuff, hopefully he’ll work his way over here soon so we can get a garden walkthrough and see the development on these beauties!

@IzzyG has posted about follow-up work on Bolt with Bjorn since it was a bit weaker after a series of foliage changes if I recall correctly. At least to me it sounded like the care was a bit of an ongoing process with the really high-end trees.

My only personally collected tree is urbanadori. Gotta grab those growing on the urban equivalent of high altitude rocky soil - landfill . But legit….I removed styrofoam and plastic cups from its roots on collection

Sadly it was a set up thread. I wound up shipping a giant BC forests and several big collected BCs. The payment never came from @Dmvbonsai.
Below are some pictures of the trees in the possession of @Dmvbonsai
Hard lesson for me. Being this old and comfortable with this forum, I dropped my guard and paid dearly.

Well. Technically he received the goods and has not yet paid for them for a few months. We will leave things as that and let the lawyers and collectors do their things.

In the mean time no shipping of my trees until money is in my hand. I don’t have many more to sell any way. It is never my intention to make money with my trees. Share the joy was my goal.

In the heavy metal world, we call these people rip offs and oust them so no one will trade/sell to them. There is a well known rip off / trade theft group in the phillipines. It got so bad that no one would sell to/trade with anyone in Davao City for years without the previous vouching of highly respected individuals in the scene.

This is awful @Cajunrider, so sorry to hear that anyone, especially a member here could be such a despicable ass. Especially considering the size and amount of trees involved, not to mention the packing and shipping costs. Very disheartening that someone here would be such a scammer.
