Yeah I know, lol, I should have been more specific.Sure looks that way
If you know what you’re doing. I have Had better success with air layers than cuttings myselfYeah I know, lol, I should have been more specific.
I guess I already knew that it was, I wanted to ask about this variety's ability to root cuttings. As you can see, I could take a ton of them and not even dent the surface of this tree/shrub.
If it were mine, I'd have dug it up a while ago... you should see its trunk.
I'll have to get permission but I should be able to do that. I have no experience with air-layering.. sounds pretty straight forward though. If you know what you’re doing. I have Had better success with air layers than cuttings myself
Dammit, sorry about my "stupid question" comment. I deleted it.If you know what you’re doing. I have Had better success with air layers than cuttings myself
I might try a few, just because. You probably better off in spring to try air layer. You could try some cuttings now but not sure how that would be right now. Not much to lose
That's too bad... have any friendly neighbors who could watch them when you're gone?I have had a few cuttings take but more failure than success as often vacation ruins them when I’m back as I can’t keep moist while gone. Had couple that were tropical started indoors amd while it took forever to root finally did well. A buhdist pine which not sure the correct name of that tree.
