Japanese Flowering Quince cuttings in training.

Wow, that's a really dark red. Very nice!
 
How big are these trunks @bonhe ? Hard to tell from the pictures. I'll post some pics of mine tomorrow if the weather is good
 
They are ranged from 0.5 - 1 cm

No, the mom has multiple trunk as quince characteristics. She has been in 15 gallon plastic pot for 8 years. She is about 15 yo. At first, she has 1/2" diameter trunk base. Now, she probably has at least 6" base and each trunk is about 1 1/2 " diameter. In my experience, flowering quince growth rather well in container with little soil. Most of my quince have been in the pots their whole lives.
You can get very nice rootage surface in few years from cutting, like this one

Oh my goodness, I'd love to buy one from you. If you are ever willing to part with some of these, message me please. I think they are stunning. I bet you hear that a lot though! Hah. ;)
