This afternoon I recognized something interested on this flower. The front has a faded red, the back has bright red!

Don’t know what that means but definitely weird and interesting! Makes me like them even more haha.

Just curious- how many Quince would you estimate you have? It feels like every time I look in this thread there’s a new one I haven’t seen yet.

Thanks for asking me, so I have to count how many I have. I have one Nichi-Getsu-Sei mom and 14 kids! Other kinds are 5!

Yeah, I don't think so, because quince are needed very low maintenance! It is not liked black pine which keeps me busy much more.! If you have a chance, try to get one ;-)

Such a joy to see here, where it's been raining for a solid week, and. possible snow flurries Sunday.

At the present time, there are 3 Japanese flowering quince plants blooming in my yard. I can compare their flower colors.
The regular one has salmon red.

The above quince looks more beautiful and sexy this afternoon!

I have to post full image this flower, so you can see how sexy it is. Its petal is so thin in white color that we can see the red color from the adjacent petal. It looks liked I see the beautiful lady wearing "áo dài" made of the white sheer fabric!!!

It is not surprised to see the duration of sunlight exposure affects to plant growth. Those quinces left in sunny area started blooming aggressively at this time. But, the size of the pot seems have affects, too.

The big mom living in less sun exposure area does not wake up yet!
