Wow! Such a beautiful ficus.
It's looking really good. I always see Stacy cut the leaves in half to let more light in. Would that be appropriate for this one? I'm going to do it to mine this weekend.I pulled some of the lower limbs down, again, since they did not stay positioned from the last wiring. Here is how I left it, what do you think?

If you wire the branches of figs in the normal way allow the wire to bite. The tree then attempts to heal the wirebite and that growth helps to set the branches. When you remove the wire the scars will very quickly heal over and at the same time give the bark a nice appearance of age.
