Anyone here ever buy from them their showing inn ground Trident maples and JBP
Not to far from me wondering if it would be worth the drive.

Correct. He had trees in the ground when I was there, about 5 years ago. I think Owen(?) or maybe another pro bought up a bunch at some point too, so I have no idea what’s there now. Most everything was rough stock, trunks without root work or branch selection. I didn’t look too closely at the trident maples, crape myrtles or Chinese elms. When I was there I was interested in Stewartia and JBP. I still have both, but the JBP is huge and I haven’t done much with it so far. Here is a post with some pix from my trip there.


Pretty farm land, and good prices. I’d go back if I was in the market for a big fat trunk.
