Will be ebay……I’ll minus all of these quanties from the ebay stor so you will purchase through their come end of September and will be enough stock reserved to do soI’d like 5 pines please. Should we look for these in Ebay or are you doing sales right here and if here how would you like to receive payment?
Thanks all will be listed on the ebay store at end Of September……..need a little growing.Curt, I would like two JBP and one elm clump please. the more trunks the better. Send me a pm of what I owe you and where to send it.
Let grow till the stonewool block is full of roots or they will not stay moist as long as you want them to…….then put into a free draining mix….volcanic,hydroponic…..#2 or #3 perlite ,large vermiculite, grow wool mix, grow chunks mix, grow cubes mix ( stonewool mix).@cmeg1 thanks again!
Would you give us a quick explanation on if there's anything different to consider when repotting these from the rock wool block into normal bonsai soil? Is it the same process as usual or are there any special steps to take or anything else to consider?
These overwinter outside in the cubes? I would have though stonewool freezing could cause issues, good to hear this isn't the case.Let grow till the stonewool block is full of roots or they will not stay moist as long as you want them to…….then put into a free draining mix….volcanic,hydroponic…..#2 or #3 perlite ,large vermiculite, grow wool mix, grow chunks mix, grow cubes mix ( stonewool mix).
Or fovorite bonsai soil……. Flood them with water frequently like you always do don’t worry about inner rootball moisture or different consistencies . It is not a scenario the Stonewall is actual Stone. It dries out very quickly..

Mine freeze solid in a in ground wood box at 1.5’ deep with stones and earth bottom at about a 25f minimum and were exceptinally vigorous in Spring……. The secret I think is if weather gets above freezing the pines need to be in indirect light…… and then just put them away when it falls below freezing at night or just shut the lid. These overwinter outside in the cubes? Is there any special treatment they get for winter
Have you reserved ones spoken for here, or is it first come first serveOK EVERYONE!!
I WILL PUT THE SIBERIAN ELM ON EBAY TOMORROW…….THEY ARE NEARLY DOUBLE THE SIZE AND BULKING UP NICELY.
Now the pine seedling cutting that were grown totally outside that I saved from excess heat in the grow house miscalculation ………Ther is no Terminal bud on them???
I am apprehensive about releasing them so I will probably hold onto till next season…….unless buds pop later this Autumn…….I’ll keep anlook at them.
I’ll post pictures in the morning here on the site with the siberian and Elms and also on the eBay store sometime in the early to mid morning I’ll sell them quite cheaply at $5 apiece for gratitude with everyone’s patience this season!!
