A Couple Of New Pots

Very cool!View attachment 80899View attachment 80900 These two I am interested in!

He don't really want the top one!
I'll give you 5 bucks more!

Really, I don't see you having a problem offing these.

Get a student to build you a site.

There's no reason at all you should lose $ to a dealer.

Seriously. You'd Probly do well just here!

I will own one of these pots by spring!

C'mon sorce just one pot by spring? Buck up man!
You must have a collection of an artist's pots to capture all of his artistic views.

Absolutely correct.!

I just have to have THAT one first!

You haven't noticed the "do it for freeish" pattern of my posts!

I was down at Bonsai West a couple weeks ago and I don't recall seeing any of your pots. Your chop is pretty distinctive, but I didn't see it. Is this something in the future, or maybe you have some smaller pots up there, smaller pots being not what I was looking at. Good luck!!

I might be there this Saturday. Ironically, for a pot. An associate is coming in from the hinterlands of NH and he's in the market for a container. Not sure of size or his tastes, but maybe if I find one of yours I'll pick one up! Interesting glazes though I don't have any thing too small. Good luck to me!!!

Here's a new concept that are in collaboration with a girl at the studio named Eli... Hmm, 2 Eli's can't be wrong, right? Anyway, she has this signature that are these tentacles that I have always admired. One day we were working at the same table and we decided that not enough collaboration goes on with the potters at our studio. Well, these pots are the first fruits of that conversation. These are her pots, i.e., out of the 8 done, these are her four. I made the pot, she added the "legs" and she glazed these. I will post my 4 when they are out of the kiln. I'm stoked on this project and hope to keep this partnership going, these are a lot of fun!

I did manage to find two I liked, Eli. Very nice work and I'll post them tommorrow. Maybe I'll post them on Dav4's thread "My new favorite pot"....I think there that good! Tradition and history have to start someplace, brother.....

Oh no.....hitched a lift home from I, they did.....

Ooooo Eli...I'll buy whatever shape you can come up if it's got this glaze...it reminds me of the texture of bone!!

Really nice work!! Looking forward to have some trees worthy of pairing with your elegant designs!!

Just thinkin'...A large rectangle...large oval...5'' deep cascade...in the "bone" glaze...one of those oribe-ish glazed rectangles....seems doable by Christmas!!!! hehehehe..but yah, seems doable...hehehe....pm me...nice work, my friend!! Did I just commision something???

Wow, I'm so flattered you took those with you! That glaze combo is one I love and did a lot of testing to get the cream I wanted. As you can see from the pots you have, I work in a few different clay bodies, all of which wear that cream very nicely. 4 shohin ovals in that glaze came out of the kiln today, on the lighter, more groggy clay... The one in the close up is the winner with the solitary drip and the one area of green highlight. I met with a web developer recently, I hope to have my online store sooner than later. Thanks again LanceMac, and everyone for your support thus far.

image.jpg Well if anyone is wondering about Eli's
(Hometeamrocker's) pots, I just opened a box of five of them, they are fantastic!
Excellent design, great size and spacing on drain and anchor holes. These are definetly pots I am proud to own.
Eli is a true craftsmen and artist.
Thanks so much!

Thats one hell of a package of pots. Good for you.

The Octo pots made it thru the gas kiln! They look far better than the pics show. At least 2 more of these to come...
