A Couple Purple Pots!

Picked up some pots from the kiln today! This purple glaze is one of my favorites, so I thought I’d share some pics



I normally use a red/brown clay, but I thought I’d try some white clay for fun.

This first one is about 5.5” wide by 2.5” tall.


This second one is about 6” wide by 2.25” tall

Thank you! I’ve been on a wheel-throwing kick lately, but I am planning to make some slab-built rectangles soon!

It’s interesting that on my red clay body, the glaze gets kind of a green tint on the breaking points. But on this white clay there’s no green. Part of what makes ceramics fun

Yeah it is cool! Another part that makes ceramics fun yet more complicated!
