I'll warn you now, I have never been able to get really good photo's of this event due to the darkness of all the rooms and vendor areas.
With that said, I'll show a few of the trees of the exhibit. I will post all the photo's at my blog tomorrow.

Colin Frasier and Nathen Simmons with all those pots he sells on Ebay.

The Fresno Shohin Study Group displayed the Rack I built with an assortment of trees from members of the group. Steve DaSilva, Al Keppler, Ken To, and Pat Galle. A close up of the trident on the rack I showed.

Yes, a lot of the Bay area people glue that crap to the trunks of their trees. I have seen it numerous times at Boon shows. Kinda looking forced. The first guy got the ohhhs and ahhhhs, now its just used too much.

I'm gonna cover the whole trunk of one of my deciduous trees with lichen like the Bog Boys.

Thanks Al, pics are good. Is it just me or do some of these trees look larger than 8"? I've really taken a shine to shohin recently....

8 Inches Baby!
...or it don't get in....

I have really cropped many of these photo's due to the large photo's of the displays being so dark. Many of the photo's show the trees rather black and without color definition. Lets look at some in the display versus a cropped close up of the tree.

Heres a rack with a top shelf pine

And the pine close up

here is the accessory California juniper, quite rare in shohin...

Another top shelf pine on rack

and the close up... so..you see it's just my superior photography and cropping abilities that make these small trees seem so large!

oh brother..I can't even believe that load of crap..

That Juniper is off the wall :) I like the Trident but the pot is just not "me" - Please ship it bare root

What is woolgrowers?
Just might be a Basque eatery
Yep, but this one's in Los Banos, just down the road from the truck stop that passes for the town where the show is.
Family style Basque food - lamb, prime rib, tritip, beans, soup, stew, salad, bottomless wine, and on and on. So much food!
