More from my yard. Yes, I have too many.
Never too much JM.......Sì, ne ho troppi.
That's barking up fast! Do you have any pictures of the whole tree?
That's what I keep telling people, but I think they're starting to question my mental fitness. I just counted and I have at least 140 different cultivarsNever too much JM.......
That my dream, one day I will try to find a land to have my japanese maples garden. Till now, I have "only" around 80 cultivars, but every year some new trees misteriously came in my collectionQuesto è quello che continuo a dire alla gente, ma penso che stiano iniziando a mettere in dubbio la mia forma mentale. Ho appena contato e ho almeno 140 cultivar diverse
Per fortuna finalmente ho trovato un po' di terra. La maggior parte di questi andrà interrata come parte di un grande giardino. Si scopre che 140 non sono così tanti se distribuiti su pochi acri.
Fair enough. If nothing else, looks like it has promising genetics for further propagation. Thanks for sharing! The whole tree is not much to look at. Scraggly thing. But I do have some rooted cuttings and an air layer in progress. I got it from a lady who runs a local maple nursery out of her yard. She liked it for the slightly different leaf form, though to me the bark seems a little different as well.

LOL, my neighbor still believes my JMs are weed.Last time I did I shared it on Facebook and had a lady from church at the house the next day questioning what I had growing in the backyard
I wish I had come up with something quirky to tell her.LOL, my neighbor still believes my JMs are weed.
