I did not see @markyscott at the table but I did see a lot of Milwaukee Bonsai society friends
I did really enjoy this composition. Reminds me of the nursery trucks flying down the freeway with trees in the back.
Lots of beautiful trees for sale
I want this Larch so bad but I'm keeping my tree budget under $100 because I don't need any.
So I went with this larch and I made my girlfriend carry it. She's much cuter than me anyway.

How do I recognize the BNuts at a convention? Do I ask really loudly if Bonsai is an art form? Is there a secret handshake? Are y'all hanging out under the demo table?

I'm wearing the same hat in the picture. That's how Dave recognized me. Wife and are are meeting with our daughter who lives in GR soon. I'll be back all day Saturday but in classes. I looked for @markyscott but didn't a tall dude with a ponytail.

Sorry I missed you and the other Bnutters. I needed to come home Friday night due to other obligations. I beleive I saw you from a distance based on a previous photo. I wanted to say hi but I was like a moth in the light with all the seminars, demos, exhibition, sales, and more.
I had a great experience and met a lot of new and friendly folks. Grand Rapids is beautiful and the event was amazing.

Only Bnuts I met was Dav4 & Matt Spinniken, both nice guys & light years ahead of me. But you could throw a rock and hit someone with more experience than me.
