Sorry for the confusion the Maple I posted isn't mine...thread says pic required, so I posted a pic I took at a Japanese Garden in CA . Thread also says "do today" and I didn't take that maple pic today, I know bad dog. I've been following half the rules most my life and I ended up here. I hardly ever remember to take pictures when working on trees, dirty paws, and I have to concentrate. That's awesome. The only tree I have in a bonsai pot is a ~150-y.o. Engelmanns Spruce. My job requires me to be gone for numerous months at a time every few years so I've decided ro keep them in cans until I retire to keep the work and maintenance down for my wife when I'm gone. Hopefully will have some good material ready to rock by then. Here is a small shot of part of the Engelmanns bark, so cool
Love it. First picture literally looks like a picture of large tree in a forest!Sunday evening happiness! AP Kuro Hime

Sick.Got around to editing some photos of the repotting week from last month. Here’s a Colorado Blue Spruce that was acquired right after collection and have been recovering since late spring of 2022. Ryan and I went back and forth on design and I was able to repot it last month as he finished the initial styling.
